The Role of Healthcare Administrator

Here, you will be part of an administrative team consisting of three healthcare administrators and one administrative assistant. We have both shared tasks and individual areas of responsibility.

We work with patient administration in both Cosmic and Metavision, but dictation is not one of our primary tasks. A large part of our work involves providing administrative support to the clinic management, including statistics, schedule administration, quality registers, document management in Evolution, publishing, as well as travel and course administration. One of the advantages of being a smaller group is the freedom and responsibility to organize our work together.

One of our employees will be on leave for a period, and therefore we are looking for a substitute for our team.

The position is a full-time temporary assignment with a start date to be agreed upon. Extension may be considered depending on the organization's needs.

The work is scheduled during office hours on weekdays. You have the opportunity to influence your working hours, and there is some possibility of remote work depending on operational needs.

The Operations and Intensive Care Clinic is one of Höglandssjukhuset's largest clinics with approximately 200 employees within intensive care, postoperative care, anesthesia, operating room care, day surgery, sterile technology, and healthcare administration. Your Profile

We are looking for you who are educated as a Healthcare Administrator with good knowledge of the Office package and the Swedish language, both spoken and written. If you also have an interest in IT tasks, that is positive. We would like you to have knowledge of Cosmic and that you have coding training. It is an advantage if you also have knowledge of Evolution and are interested in learning new things. If you have experience in administrative work from before, we see this as a strength.

To thrive in the role, we see that you are a person who takes responsibility, drives your work forward, and gladly contributes to developing both your own and the group's areas of work. You find it easy to collaborate with others, are service-oriented, structured, and have the ability to see the big picture.

The role involves many contacts, which places demands on professional and positive handling. Therefore, it is important that you have good communication and collaboration skills, as well as a genuine interest in helping and supporting others.
